I am so excited to release the new EP “Bad Machine” on all streaming services starting on Friday 4/4/25!!

This project came together from meeting Russ Lawton, drummer for LaMP and Trey Anastasio Band. He is such a sweet and great guy and we hit it off and decided to collaborate. After sending him some demo ideas and half-written ideas and riffs, I reached out Jay Poole (guitars), Brenden McBride (bass) &  Jesse Weston (keyboards) and we went for a day at STEM Recording with Curtis Grippe manning the board and engineering. From what I was hoping to get 2, maybe 3 songs, we ended up tracking 5 songs!! 

Jay Poole and I then took these tracks to his home studio, Puget Sound, and tinkered and added little bits to them to polish them up and I wrote some lyrics for some of them. We also had our good friend, Ted Belledin, to add saxophoine to two of the songs! Once they were completed to our liking, we asked the amazing Mike Detto to do final mixes and mastering. The final piece and cherry on top is the amazing original artwork/logo done by my good friend, Rowan Hansen!

Throughout the whole process, my expectations have been met and exceeded many times over. From what was going to be a couple songs recorded with Russ, I now have a unique and special EP with 5 songs filled with groove and heart that would have never been out in the world without all of the amazing people involved and their time and talents!! Thank you Jay, Russ, Brenden, Jesse, Ted, Mike, Curtis and Rowan!!

I am very proud and excited to get these songs out and I hope you enjoy “Bad Machine” any and everywhere you listen to music!! Let me know what you think!!
